Thailand Long-stay Visa Insurance

In 2018, Thailand’s medical hub committee launched a new plan that requires newly arrived long-stay immigrants to purchase private health insurance for the duration of their stay. The aim of this new measure is to make sure that foreigners can have their medical bills covered in case of an accident, which leaves them needing medical intervention.
